Women Amplifying Other Women

A support group for badass women that want to encourage, support and lift up other women.

Every woman, even in her darkest hour, has her own strengths, and those strengths can help another woman in some way. Having a circle of women around you might be the greatest life upgrade.

Women Amplify Other Women

Research shows women are typically penalized for trying to lift each other up. Can you believe that nonsense? So what is the antidote to being penalized? At Recovery Unfiltered, we like to challenge the status quo. We are working hard to create an environment where standing alongside other women, without jealousy or competition is the norm. We believe, together, women become limitless. When women stand up for themselves, they stand up for all women. When they heal themselves, they effortlessly spread a light that sparks courage and healing in others.

Surround yourself with women that will lift you up.

Women are intended to connect with other women. This can be a really hard thing to do. Let’s face it, after high school, the magic portal to effortless connection suddenly vanishes and we are all expected to figure out this support system thing on our own. Being an adult can be really friggin’ lonely. Healthy, supportive friendships might feel few and far between.

Maybe you’ve tried bars, and found the women were just not growth-oriented, so you tried gyms and found the women had their headphones in. Mom’s groups were focused on kids and the game night you had last week just felt superficial. We get it.

Who are these women?

Traditionally, women are seen as quiet, sensitive, caregivers, helpers, homemakers, and nurturers. Some in our groups really do fit this mold. But the reality is, many of them just aren’t any of those things.

Many of the women in our groups have stories. They have stories of tragedy, heartache, struggle, and healing. They are leaders, students, lawyers, athletes, and doctors. Some of them are survivors of domestic violence, abuse, assault, illness, and harassment. Some struggle with anxiety, depression, or body image. Some are grieving. We bring together overwhelmed, stay-at-home moms, and burnt-out CEOs. We invite women who have lost their children and women who are caretaking their mothers.

We are certain of one thing, every one of the women in our groups is a resilient, badass warrior with something to contribute. Each of the women in our groups has strengths, even in their darkest hour and each of them brings to the group a unique light and perspective to share with the others.

So what happens in group?

Good question, we never know!

At Recovery Unfiltered, we seek to empower you to take control of your own well-being by giving you a space to see and be seen by other women. This may look like laughter or tears!

In this 8 week group, you will be connected with other women who are currently on their own unique journeys.

Together you will receive support and resources that amplify your power to heal. You will have the opportunity to express your needs confidently and be heard by others.

Our Women Amplifying Women’s Group aims to foster resilience and promote a positive and proactive approach to mental health (because that shit doesn’t take care of itself).

With other women by your side, you will navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and understanding.

For Women Amplifying Women

Thursdays at 8am PST

Breakfast and beverages are always welcome in group!

Group is $40 per week and requires an 8-week commitment (physically and financially). You are welcome to stick around for much longer than 8 weeks if you continue to find value in the support.

We do not allow women to drop in or “try” the group, as this disrupts the group dynamic. If you have questions about the group please email us and we are happy to offer a free 15 min consult with the facilitator. We enroll every 8 weeks, please contact us for the next start date.

Please note, While your group facilitator is a fully licensed therapist, Women Amplifying Women is a support group and not a replacement for individual therapy. If you are struggling with mental health concerns we highly recommend seeing a therapist alongside your group participation. This group is not appropriate for women who are deep in addiction, or actively struggling with self-harm or suicidal ideation.
